Basic Usage

This guide will briefly go over on how to use Meowtils ingame.

GUI

GUI Bind

By default the bind for opening the GUI is right shift. However this can be changed in the GUI Module.

Note

If you are unable to open the GUI this way, you can either use the /bind command to bind it to another key, or by using the /meowtilsgui command to open the GUI for you.

There are several different categories that contain modules, the main category is called Meowtils and this is where you would find general mod settings, rather than actual modules. These are always shown as enabled.

Opening a category

In order to open or close a category, you can right-click while hovering over it. You can also drag these categories around to organize your GUI.

Enabling a module

Hover over a module and left-click in order to toggle it.

Showing module settings

If you hover over a module and right-click it, the module will expand to show its settings. If a module does not have any settings it will not expand.

To interact with a setting itself, hover over it and left-click.

Binding a module

You are able to bind modules to a specified key, if so they will toggle when pressing that key. To bind a module middle-click your mouse while hovering over it. Now you are able to assign a key, and you can hit backspace to clear it.

Scrolling

In case a category is too long you can hover over it and use your scroll wheel to access settings or modules that are located lower down.

HUD Editor

The HUD Editor allows you to change the position of HUD Elements from modules. To open it, you can find a button in the bottom left corner while the GUI is opened, if you click it then the HUD Editor will open.

It will display a preview for elements, you can hover over them to see a description of what module it comes from, and you can drag & drop them anywhere.

Info

Only HUD Elements in currently enabled modules will have a preview displayed.

Commands

You may view a list of all commands by doing /meow.

Tip

If a command overrides a server command, you can use /send <command> to send it directly to the server, skipping client commands entirely.

External files

All files that Meowtils create, such as config file or lists will be located in your game directory, in its own Meowtils folder. You normally don't have to interact with these unless you want to add custom skins or capes.

Tip

You can open the Meowtils folder in-game by doing /meowfolder.
