Server Safety

Meowtils is NOT a cheat client, that is past our scope and we have no intentions of being associated as such.

Unlike other mods we do not forcefully restrict our features, even if they may be disallowed. Whatever you want to use is completely up to you, however all features that could be disallowed are already disabled by default.

While modules are specifically made to not cause any detection issues regardless by simulating vanilla game behaviour, certain modules do perform actions for you that, if used on strict anticheats, may end up causing issues. An example of this would be AutoChest with a low delay or certain DelayRemover options.

Warning

You are in complete control of what modules and settings you use, as well as which servers you play on. This is use at your own risk.

Restricting Features

You are able to restrict modules to comply with server rules, this can be changed in the GUI Module.

Restricting modules is done by you, and can be changed by you at any time. While modules are restricted they will be disabled and hidden from the GUI.

Every module has a Risk Label that determines how safe it is.

Risk Labels

Legit

Legit modules are not considered to be unfair as they provide no real advantage, or because similar features already exist in popular legit modifications such as Lunar Client, they are considered no-risk modules.

Safe

While not guaranteed, safe modules may provide an unfair advantage, but they are client-side only which means they are considered low-risk modules as it is not possible to detect them.

Blatant

Blatant modules provide a significant advantage, and may be detected by anticheats due to how they behave. These would be considered high-risk modules.

Default Features

These features are always enabled, but they do not provide any unfair advantages.

There are many different commands, you may view all by doing /meow.

Commands do not provide an unfair advantage.

Resource Exploit Fix

This prevents servers from looking through your directories to find files that may indicate you are cheating, or to attempt fingerprinting you.

This is considered a security exploit and is already fixed by most modifications, such as the Patcher Mod and Lunar Client.
